These terms apply when you use www.kuronamimarin.com or order from Kuro Nami Japanese Kitchen online. The site is operated by Laugh Tale Group LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. Online orders
Orders are placed through our online ordering system, provided by Toast.
Your order is accepted when you receive a confirmation. We may cancel or refuse an order, for example if an item is sold out, the kitchen is too busy, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel, you will get a full refund.
Pickup and delivery times are estimates. Busy nights can cause delays.
Please check your order at pickup or delivery. If something is missing or wrong, contact us as soon as possible.
2. Reservations
Reservations are made through Resy and follow Resy's terms. Please let us know as early as possible if you need to change or cancel.
3. Prices and menu
Prices, menu items and hours can change without notice. Fish and seasonal items depend on availability.
Prices on our website may differ from prices on third-party delivery apps.
Sales tax is added at checkout. Delivery and service fees, if any, are shown before you pay.
If a price or item is listed in error, we may cancel the order and refund you, or contact you to confirm the correct price.
Photos are for illustration. Your dish may look a little different.
4. Payment
Online orders and gift cards are paid at checkout through Toast. You confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.
5. Refunds and problems with your order
We want you to love your food. If something isn't right, contact us within 24 hours at 415-459-6969 or kuronamimarin@gmail.com. We will make it right with a replacement, credit or refund, at our discretion. We generally cannot offer refunds based on taste preference once the food has been eaten.
6. Delivery apps
Orders placed through DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub or other apps follow that app's own terms, fees and refund rules. For delivery problems on those orders, please contact the app first.
7. Raw food, allergies and dietary needs
Many of our dishes are served raw or undercooked. Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.
Our kitchen uses fish, shellfish, soy, wheat, sesame, eggs, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts and other allergens. We cannot guarantee that any dish is free of allergens, because ingredients are shared and cross-contact can happen. If you have a food allergy, please tell us when you order and ask us about ingredients. You are responsible for deciding whether a dish is safe for you.
8. Gift cards
Gift cards are sold through Toast. They do not expire and have no service fees. They are not redeemable for cash except where required by law. Treat gift cards like cash. We are not responsible for lost or stolen cards.
9. Using our website
Please don't misuse the site. For example, don't place fake orders, try to break or hack the site, or use it for anything illegal.
10. Our content
The text, photos, logos and menu designs on this site belong to Kuro Nami Japanese Kitchen or are used with permission. Please don't copy or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission. You're welcome to share links to our site.
11. Reviews and feedback
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve the restaurant without owing you anything.
12. Other websites
Our site may link to other websites, such as Resy, Toast, delivery apps or social media. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
13. Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is." We try to keep it accurate and running, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free, or up to date.
14. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some laws do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by California law. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Marin County, California, unless the law requires otherwise.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
